Choosing a personalised wedding welcome sign is the easy part — picking the right size is where most couples pause. This quick guide explains the three sizes we offer at Partysigns.ie — A3, A2 and A1 — so you can order with confidence.
The sizes at a glance
- A3 — 420 × 297mm (roughly 16.5" × 11.7"): Our smallest welcome sign. Best for tabletop display, signing tables, or smaller intimate venues.
- A2 — 594 × 420mm (roughly 23.4" × 16.5"): A popular middle-ground. Big enough to read from a few metres away while still sitting neatly on a tabletop easel.
- A1 — 841 × 594mm (roughly 33.1" × 23.4"): Our most popular wedding welcome sign size. Designed for a full-size floor easel at the entrance — the size guests notice the moment they arrive.
Which size should you choose?
For a floor easel at the entrance: go with A1. It is the standard choice for welcome signs displayed on a freestanding easel and reads clearly from across a room.
For a tabletop or signing table: A2 is ideal. It has real presence without needing a large easel.
For smaller venues or a budget-friendly option: A3 works beautifully on a small tabletop easel.
A quick note on easels
Most Irish wedding venues can provide a floor easel, but it is always worth checking in advance — especially if you are choosing A1. If your venue does not have one, a simple wooden or gold easel is inexpensive and reusable.
